How Can Homestead Counseling Help You?
Individual Counseling
Individual Counseling provides safe, confidential, therapeutic, one-on-one sessions to explore strengths, challenges, and areas of growth, increase awareness and understanding of needs, values, emotions, and experiences, and develop skills, strategies, and solutions that support emotional regulation, healthy relationships with self and others, and growth and progress toward personal goals. Individual Counseling is available to children, tweens, teens, or adults at this time.
*Individual Counseling is typically covered by insurance.
Family Counseling
Family Counseling provides safe, confidential, therapeutic sessions for 2 or more family members to explore supports and stressors within the family system, increase awareness and understanding of patterns of interactions and impacts on relationships among family members, and develop and practice skills, strategies, and solutions that support connection, communication, and healthy relationships among family members. Family Counseling is available “stand-alone” for families at this time, and may be available as supplemental for families with a family member in Individual Counseling.
*Family Counseling is typically not covered by insurance.
Parent Consultation
Parent Consultation provides safe, confidential, supportive sessions for 1 or more caregivers to explore supports and stressors within the family system, increase awareness and understanding of the social, emotional, and developmental needs and challenges of their children, and develop parenting skills, strategies, and solutions that support confidence, connection, and healthy relationships among family members. Parent Consultation is available “stand-alone” for caregivers at this time, and is strongly encouraged as supplemental for caregivers of children in Individual Counseling.

Teacher, Physician, or Professional Consultation
Teacher or Professional Consultation provides confidential, supportive, professional sessions with teachers, physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists, mental health counselors, and other professionals involved with the family system to coordinate, collaborate, and ensure highest quality of care for clients and their families. Teacher or Professional Consultation is only available to individuals and families in one of our other services at this time.
